1. Meat is gross. Okay, so this one might be a bit of a personal opinion, but it has very good backing. Meat is contaminated with blood, feces (read: animal shix), and other bodily fluids. Eww.
2. Vegetarians are thin. Yeah, it's kind of superficial, but I like being thin, and being vegetarian helps me to keep a healthy weight for me.
3. I'm green! No, seriously; this goes beyond the obvious. If you're taking a bunch of water to go into crops, which then have to go between animals (being raised for meat) and humans, it's kind of a waste. It's way more efficient to just have the water and crops go straight to us humans (and out pets)! :)
4. I save a bunch of birdies. And cows. And pigs. And all the other animals omnis eat. According to GoVeg.com, a single vegetarian can save the lives of 100 animals per year! That's, like, a farm's worth!
5. I can watch Onision's videos without feeling stupid, pathetic, and guilty. Really. He is the. Number. One. Reason. I became vegetarian. He is also my veggie crush *blush*
There are my five reasons! [:

101 Days of Vegetarianism
approx.
3:31 PM
Just did a counter on my phone to see how long I've been vegetarian; it's been a-hundred-and-one days. Woah! That's over a hundred days! Well, barely, but still!
This is huge for me. I don't think I've ever stuck to anything this long besides ballet (when I was little) and doing my homework (forever). I am so proud of myself. Someone tell Onision!
Also: don't ask me if I eat eggs and drink milk. I do. It doesn't kill them. I am not going vegan anytime soon. Or ever.
Well, I gotta go. I'm gonna eat my bean burrito. Have fun, carnivores ;)

Nuke is a Four-Letter Word
approx.
9:00 PM
I have finally realized why the cookbook my grandmother gave me (peta's Vegan College Cookbook) entertains me so much more than the cookbook my stepmother gave me (Ok, So Now You're a Vegetarian). First off, peta's has much more of a 'hey, check this shit out!' feel, and tells jokes all the time. Ok, ... doesn't, and has this weird feel to it... I mean, look at the title. It's a bad title. I don't like it. And the part under it, 'from one teen to another,' just makes me want to hurl. People my age don't call each other 'teens.'
We call each other other names. Ones I'm not sure I should say ;)
Anyways, the reason is that- all right, I just noticed something else. The author of the second one? Her last name is Butts. Why would I want to eat food from recipes created with the last name Butts? Moving on.
The peta cookbook uses the word 'nuke' more than half the time to replace the traditional word, 'microwave.' As in, "nuke for 1 minute, or until cheese is melted." That word never fails to amuse me. Nuke, nuke, nukity nuke.
